If you’re experiencing issues on PirateSwap, don’t worry! Most problems can be resolved with a few quick checks. Here’s what to look into:
1. Check Your Steam Settings
Several Steam-related requirements must be met before you can trade on PirateSwap:
- Steam Guard – Ensure that your Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator has been enabled for at least 7 days. Without it, trading won’t be possible.
- No Trade Bans – Your Steam account must be in good standing with no trade bans or restrictions. You can check your status in Steam’s settings.
- Public Inventory – Your Steam inventory must be set to public so PirateSwap’s system can access your skins. You can adjust this in Steam’s privacy settings.
- Active Account – Your Steam account must be able to generate an API key, which requires at least $5 in purchases on Steam.
2. Verify Your Trade URL
Your Trade URL is how PirateSwap sends trade offers to your Steam account. If you’re having trouble receiving offers, make sure your Trade URL is correctly set. You can find or update it here.
3. Check for Trade Locks
Some CS2 skins have a trade lock period, meaning they cannot be traded until a certain number of days have passed. If you’re unable to withdraw an item, check its trade lock status in your Steam inventory. If it’s locked, you’ll need to wait until the restriction expires before you can trade it.
