Getting started on PirateSwap is quick and easy! Follow these simple steps to set up your account and start trading or selling CS2 skins in no time.
1. Log in with Steam
To use PirateSwap, you’ll need to sign in with your Steam account. Click the login button on the homepage and securely log in using your Steam credentials.
2. Enable Steam Guard
For security reasons, Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator must be active on your account for at least 7 days before you can trade. If you haven’t enabled it yet, you can find instructions on how to set it up here.
3. Check Your Trading Eligibility
Make sure your Steam account meets these requirements to trade on PirateSwap:
- No trade bans – Your account must not be restricted from trading.
- Public inventory – Your Steam inventory must be set to public so the system can access your items.
- Active account – You need to have made at least $5 worth of purchases on Steam to generate an API, which is required for trading.
4. Set Your Trade URL
Your Trade URL is what PirateSwap uses to send you trade offers. To set it up, find your Steam Trade URL here, then enter it in your PirateSwap settings.
5. Trade!
Once everything is set up, you’re all set to trade and sell skins! Pick the items you want, confirm the trade, and let PirateSwap’s automated system handle the rest—fast, safe, and hassle-free.
